What makes you greedy is the deep desire of not having that which your soul desires, producing envy and jealousy. Jealousy is what will make you lie, steal and murder to satisfy the greed of that which you desire but can not have or what makes you jealous is the deep desire of not having that which your soul desires producing greed and malice. Greed is what will make you lie, steal and murder to cure the disease of jealousy of that which you desire but can not have. Take it either way, the former or the latter, but keeping up with these “Ten Commandments” will make you a self-inflicted victim of greed, jealousy, murder, lies and their counterparts.
“Thou shalt not steal, thou shalt not lie, thou shall not kill, and is thou aware these are for his or her own good?” I told and asked myself. I continued, “Think if it was you to be lied to, to be murdered, to be a victim of theft. How would you feel? You have been a victim of all the ten commandments being broken unto you but do not do the same unto others. Do unto others as you would like them to do unto you. After all, be steadfast as you are commanded to be.”
“If you do not have it, why can you not just steal it? After all, those who have more and in abundance than you will keep on having more by stealing and lying to you, hence greed. Then walk around and preach about preserving the ten commandments that will preserve you for decay.”
My sinful nature took over and began. It continued, “Have you not been murdered several times? Infinite times? When the commandments said do not kill nor murder, do not take it from an aspect of just taking away someone’s life. They can take away your life and keep you alive with your breath. Get it? For how long shall you continue to believe these commandments are to save you? No commandment is to save you, nor serve you unless it is your own. Won’t your soul be in a better place when you have what you desire despite breaking a commandment that is a barrier to your desires?”
I revoked myself, “Think if everyone was to have a sinful nature like the one you are about to adopt? From these very Ten Commandments, that is where the law of every society comes from. That is why balance and order outweigh chaos and anarchy on the scale. You might think of breaking these ten commandments and making your own ‘ten commandments’ will serve you with the desires to your soul, but it will not. How will your soul enjoy its desires knowing very well it took a soul to have its desires? Though they lie and steal from you to have more in abundance than they need, their greed and overabundant wealth will devour them whilst they are alive. Do not be jealous and be greedy for what they have is not what it seems.”
Sin spoke, “Listen to my logic, ‘ten commandments’ uh! You have preserved them and look at how your life has turned out to be. If they serve the purpose we believe them to, why is it you are now looking for parallel or opposing salvation? How can you not be jealous if you do not have what they have that serves and saves your soul at the same time? How can you not be greedy when you had nothing, and once you held a little of it you always wanted more because you knew it was not guaranteed? How about we apply these types of logical and realistic commandments? “Thou shalt steal to sustain their lives and well-being if they do not have; thou shall be greedy in order to preserve their future well-being and of those who are their responsibility; thou shall be jealous in order to motivate and inspire themselves to be greater than what they are.” These ten commandments serve a greater purpose than the ‘ten commandments’. For no system will persecute me for wanting better for my life, unlike this one that aligns its principles with the ‘ten commandments’ that are meant to serve it. Look at how liars, murderers, the greedy and who ‘follow’ these ‘ten commandments’ live in no pain whilst we live in the pain of carrying the cross of these commandments.”
I preach to myself once more, “What makes me greedy is the deep desire of not having that which my soul desires, producing envy and jealousy. Jealousy is what will make me lie, steal and murder to satisfy the greed of that which I desire but could not have or what makes me jealous is the deep desire of not having that which my soul desires producing greed and malice. Greed is what will make me lie, steal and murder to cure the disease of jealousy of that which I desired but could not have. I will take it either way, the former or the latter.”
I gave a counselling conclusion to myself, “There is no logic in these new ‘ ten commandments’ of yours. Those whom you envy for their greed envy you for being contempt. For their greed consumes of them to an extent that they hope they never had all of it but it has become a lifestyle they can not let go for they will still desire to be consumed by greed.” Sin replied, “Being diagnosed with the disease of being contempt and unsatisfied with what you have has led you to use greed, lies, murder and envy to be a remedy for cure. Using remedies that are not part of your beliefs. Just think of where you would have been if you were just a tenth of ‘them’ when it comes to greed?”
How do I be greedy? How do I start to lie? How do I increase my level of jealousy? How do I start being a murderer? How do I start following the ‘new commandments’? ‘New commandments’ versus the ‘old commandments’. Which set of commandments is to destabilize world order? Which set of commandments failed to put world order but succeeded to self glorify themselves? If the new commandments are the way to my salvation then let thou shalt…
