Start gathering your worship gear now – it is that time of the year again when we lift our hands and let our hearts soar with amazing performers and top contemporary Christian music artists.
The 2017 #TRMNightV season is upon us and we couldn’t be more thrilled than seeing the artists who are up for performances on this big night.
It’s none other than Jemima Baker, CVerb, Amanda Makwarimba, TRM Worship, TRM Commissioned, Chido Chigwedere and Godfrey Kadzere.
Taking place at the Borrowdale Community Church this Friday, December 15, the #TRMNightV will feature plenty of other big-name artists on this year’s bill.
Perhaps one of the most anticipated performance will be from Joel Chiweda, the young man who has been honing his versatile skills with his regularly held Gospel Soul Nights that’s been happening since earlier this year.
Or it will be from Courtney Antipas aka Mr Soulful whose Transparency EP has been doing considerably well. Or maybe it will be from Mr Hatiko Ikoko aka Prophecy, who did not release any new music this year but managed to maintain his name in the spotlight.
And there’s even a word that more special guest artists are to be announced. Wow, there’s only one way to find out… and we all know it.
This year’s event is being presented by BCC Young Adults- ARISE & Team Revolution Music and will kick off at 18.30 and close at 2100. The theme for the night is Closer Than We Know/The Ultimate Worship Experience. Posting on their event page, the organizers wrote:
‘God is not far away; He is here with us, closer than the very oxygen we breathe in. No distance separates us from the Father. He is with us wherever we go.’
The night represents a whole odyssey of faith into a brave new world of trust and dependence on Jesus. It echoes the message of His unending love for us. The songs that will be performed at the TRM Night will poetically and artfully capture our struggles, hopes, and joys of what it means to journey with Jesus in this voyage of life.
