If you would be so kind as to turn with me to the book of “common-sense” this morning, you would discover how that as calculative creatures, we only pay for something in a shop if we know we are getting our money’s worth.
We agree to pay a certain amount of money for Product A, because we feel that the Product in topic is worth every penny of the price. By that reasoning, it is impossible for us to feel disadvantaged or discouraged.
The problem is, we have been taught that we ought to feel “lucky” that we are saved: But I submit to the body of Christ this morning, that Christ’s death was an evaluation of your net worth. My brother, my sister, to put it simply, you are heaven’s treasure!
John 3:16 declares,
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
