#DailyDevotion: The Struggles Of The God-Kind Part 2

71 0

The Bible declares in Jonah 1:17,

 “Now the LORD had PREPARED a great fish to swallow up Jonah. And Jonah was in the belly of the fish three days and three nights.”

 A great deal of the times when we think about the preparations of the Lord, in the context of our lives, we are quick to recall the words of the Psalmist;

“Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies…”

But the Bible tells us in verse 17 of Jonah 1, that the Lord prepared a great fish to swallow up Jonah. Beloved, take heart in the fact that your life is in the hands of the creator. Believe God in all things; that He is the God that causes ALL things to work together for the good. The Holy Ghost told me to tell somebody this morning, that your struggle carries divine purpose.

 Jonah went three days and three nights in the Belly of the fish, that the city of Nineveh would be saved. This mirrors the struggle of Jesus, and how that he went 3 days and three nights in the Belly of Hades, that the world might be saved.

 And so I pray for you this morning, whatever struggle you have been going through. May it bring deliverance and stand as a blessing to those around you. Because of your struggle and travail, may your children never lack any good thing, in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ!!
